Flyhigh Works has revealed that Kamiko has now sold more than 250,000 copies on Nintendo Switch.

From developer Skipmore, the fast-paced action-arcade game has been styled around Shinto – which remains Japan’s major religion.

In the game, you fight as three priestesses called Kamiko who were each bestowed a weapon by the gods to defeat demons that threaten worlds.

You will have to solve puzzles to open several magically sealed Torii gates in order to unleash the stage boss, that must be pummelled before you may move on to the next.

Kamiko is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
