Pokémon series director Junichi Masuda has revealed that he will make an appearance on ‘Pokémon no Uchi Atsumaru?,’ in an episode scheduled to air in Japan on Sunday 15th November.
The TV Tokyo variety show – which is abbreviated as ‘Pokénchi’ – is broadcast on Sunday mornings, and is directly targeted at a younger generation of players.
Whether an announcement will coincide with Masuda’s appearance is unclear, but our curiosity is piqued that it comes a fortnight after the Pokémon XY&Z anime series starts in Japan.
Beyond the anime series, there are heavy indications that Pokémon Z is on the horizon – whether that be in Zygarde’s multiple Formes or the role that the will play in Pokémon the Movie XY&Z 2016.
Naturally that’s only speculation on our part, but it will be interesting to see what news is shared over the coming weeks leading up to Masuda’s appearance. Keep an eye out!
