Bandai Namco Entertainment, Outright Games, and Funsolve have announced that Jumanji: The Video Game will release on Nintendo Switch.

This Unreal Engine 4-developed game has been created in collaboration with Sony Pictures, and, based on the successful movie franchise, will place you in control of Jumanji’s greatest heroes.

They must recover the precious Jewels of Jumanji, save the world, and find a way home, with deadly exotic creatures, dangerous locations, and an army of evil marauders standing in their way.

Whether playing alone or with up to three friends in online or split-screen multiplayer modes, you can choose from Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, or Professor Shelly Oberon who must use their unique abilities to survive.

“This is a dream come true for our studio. Adapting the exotic, dangerous and hilarious world of Jumanji into a video game has pushed us to create something truly special,” explains Funsolve founder and director Richard Tawn.

“We’ve got some incredibly exciting features and reveals coming soon, but for now let’s just say the game is coming this November, and puts you in the shoes of iconic Jumanji heroes.”

Outright Games CEO Terry Malham adds: “Jumanji is a property we have been eager to work with for a long time. Our specialty as a video game publisher is in producing high-quality interactive-entertainment for the whole family to enjoy and there is no brand more exciting for families right now than Jumanji.”

Jumanji: The Video Game will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 15th.
