Nintendo UK has announced that Jo Bartlett has left the company, having spent four years as head of communications and partnerships.

She had joined in December 2011, replacing Rob Saunders after he moved to Apple and came at a time when the Nintendo 3DS was recovering from a faltered release and Wii U was preparing to launch.

During her tenure, Jo oversaw numerous campaigns that included Mario Kart 8, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Splatoon. General manager Simon Kemp will now look after Nintendo UK’s PR with assistant PR manager Emma Bunce until a replacement is made.

“Jo has been a real asset to the Nintendo UK business – especially valued for her professionalism and attention to detail,” Kemp shared with MCV. “She will be greatly missed.”

We’d like to wish Jo best of luck for the future, and say a quick thanks for her help over the years!
