Tom Create has announced that Jewel Wars will release on Nintendo Switch this week.
This fighting action game is set in the year 2039, where money is collected and managed through an online network known as Gold Asset.
That includes money which is generated through illegal and exploitative avenues, which soon resulted in a plan to return that money to the rest of the world.
With up to four players, you must battle it out in action-packed heists to collect the Jewels – pieces of financial data – before cashing them in. The winner is the player that collects more money than their competition.
There’s also a single-player Story Mode that follows the game’s four heroes – Heikichi Endo’s descendant Yuichi Endo, Arsene Lupin’s descendant Frederica Mina Lupin, Jirokichi “Nezumi Kozo”‘s descendant Kichijiro Nezu, and Goemon Ishikawa’s descendant Shieru Ishikawa.
Jewel Wars will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 23rd January 2020, priced at £8.09 ($9.99).
