James Miller victorious in StreetPass UK’s Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tourney

Competitive Super Smash Bros. for Wii U players descended on Birmingham’s Custard Factory last weekend, as StreetPass UK’s National Tournament reached its dramatic conclusion.

That saw 66 competitors square off against one another, each having qualified through regional heats to earn their places. KO’s aplenty, players were whittled down until James Miller (Luigi) and Michael St. Louis (Pikachu) prepared their chosen brawlers for the concluding Grand Final.

It was James who clinched victory, sparking a string of wins having reigned supreme at B.E.A.S.T V in Sweden earlier this month. He’ll now go on to represent the UK at APEX 2015, to be shortly held this weekend in New Jersey.

StreetPass UK have shared captured gameplay footage from the Grand Final, which you can watch below!
