Tomonobu Itagaki, previously responsible for creating Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive series, has revealed that his latest creation at newly formed Valhalla Games, Devil’s Third, may be released as a Wii U title.
Devil’s Third has previously been announced for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, yet Itagaki explains that the Wii U can more than handle it.
“There’s always a possibility,” Itagaki commented. “If Nintendo’s fan base increases, especially in terms of hardcore games, then yes. Machine performance-wise, it can handle it.”
In addition, THQ representatives stated that Valhalla Games is on the short list of the publisher’s development studios who are looking at Wii U hardware right now, in aiming to investigate which games will be best suited to Nintendo’s latest console.
