VLG Publishing and Studio V have announced that their psychological investigative thriller Dry Drowning will soon see release on Nintendo Switch.

The visual novel comes to the portable home console with “a completely overhauled English localisation language track and improvements to the user interface.”

Set in a near-future dominated by dark forces in positions of power, you will follow the escapades of troubled private detective Mordred Foley and his mission to identify a serial killer.

Weighed down by his own dark history, Foley’s world is gripped by tyranny where the hunger for power at the top results in society sinking to the absolute bottom.

With a script that tackles themes such as racism, immigration, political extremism and sexism, your choices will explore a multi-branching story that is made up of 150 different threads.

“Dry Drowning is a perfect fit for Nintendo Switch, as murder mystery fans will be able to mull over difficult decisions and moral dilemmas wherever they may be,” explains Leonardo Interactive general manager Daniele Falcone. “With over 150 narrative threads and three completely unique endings to unlock, players will find themselves glued to their screens longer than any show they’ve streamed in recent memory.”

Dry Drowning will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 22nd February 2021.
