This year marks Kirby’s 25th anniversary, and, in April’s Nintendo Direct, we had learned that multiple games starring the pink hero were on the way to Nintendo 3DS.
The next will be Kirby’s Blowout Blast, which sees release on the Nintendo eShop this week.
This will see you inhale foes and blow them away in 3D environments across more than 25 stages. If you inhale enough enemies, you can launch a huge Blaster Bullet that can wipe out a troop of Waddle Dees and help you battle iconic bosses like Kracko Jr and King Dedede.
Blaster Bullets will help you rack up your score to secure a bronze, silver or gold star, which can be boosted further by building a combo by continuously firing at enemies without missing and collecting coins.
That will see you unlock EX stages that present an even tougher challenge, while amiibo support will let you build a statue in the plaza that plays new music when Kirby series amiibo are scanned.
Kirby’s Blowout Blast will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS worldwide on July 6th.
