Blowfish Studios and Caustic Reality have announced that Infliction will release on Nintendo Switch.
In this psychological horror game, you will walk through an interactive nightmare that is set in a once-happy household.
It’s up to you to piece together the mystery behind a harrowing series of events while struggling to survive against encounters with an entity that stands in the way of you discovering absolution.
The home has been crystallized by tragedy, leaving you to uncover heartbreaking secrets hidden in messages, artwork, household objects, and other items.
These will unlock new paths that will lead you to make new discoveries, although you must avoid the malevolent presence that inhabits the residence – hiding beneath tables or beds and using light sources like camera flashes to stun the spirit.
“Infliction explores fears that manifested after my wife and I started a family,” explains Blowfish Studios mission designer and Caustic Reality founder Clinton McCleary.
“I set out to create a horror experience grounded in real-world problems that resonates with players and am looking forward to scaring everyone when we unleash it on consoles later this year.”
Infliction release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q4 2019, priced at £15.99 (€17.99 / $19.99).
