Indies steal the limelight in Nintendo eShop sizzle reel trailer


In reconfirming indie commitment to the 3DS and Wii U, Nintendo have shared a blistering sizzle reel trailer to showcase games that are destined for the Nintendo eShop.

Such slate encompasses (*takes a deep breath*) Q.U.B.E. Director’s Cut, Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails, Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, Armillo, Grinsia, 1,001 Spikes, Tengami, Jet Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai, Pier Solar HD, Putty Squad, Teslagrad, Treasurenauts, Woodne Sen’Sey, Retro City Rampage, Knytt Underground, Unepic, Siesta Fiesta, Shovel Knight. Phew!

It’s a diverse array of genres, let alone developmental talent, and will hopefully spur further indies to consider jumping aboard.
