Inazuma Eleven Go: Chrono Stone confirmed for Nintendo 3DS

Inazuma Eleven Go

The latest issue of Coro Coro has confirmed that LEVEL-5 are to bring their Inazuma Eleven series to Nintendo 3DS, in the handheld’s debut instalment Inazuma Eleven Go Chrono Stone.

Tenma will return as the main protagonist, with the title introducing Fey Rune, a boy from the future, Wonberbat, an gigantic android teady bear, and Alpha, a Team Protocol Omega member. Alpha is reportedly from the future as well, and threatens to take soccer away from the world.

Inazuma Eleven Go Chrono Stone begins following the completion of Go’s Holy Road soccer tournament, with Tenma returning to Raimon Junior high only to find that everything has been altered. The Raimon members are no longer soccer players, and the soccer club itself has disappeared entirely from the school. Wondering if he is in a parallel world, Alpha then appears before him to reveal his evil plans.

LEVEL-5 CEO Akihiro Hino previously promised that the game would be a “time travel adventure”, and the Inazuma Caravan can not only travel through time but also transform.

A new gameplay system, “Mixi Max”, will let you use Wonderbat’s Max Gun to fuse abilities from one team member to another, creating a new single member that shares both member’s previous abilities. Coro Coro also discussed the “Exciting Gauge”, which will see Wonderbat turn change colour to pink whenever he’s excited…!
