LEVEL-5 has announced that they are hard at work localising Inazuma Eleven Ares for a western release next year.

The game, which will release on Nintendo Switch, is supported with an anime series that “depicts a parallel world that will feature both new characters and cast from the original in action-packed, heart-wrenching matches between the good, the evil, and those in between.”

The anime series will continue to build on the more than 250 episodes and four movies that have come before it, and, having already started to be broadcast in Asia, will be shown in Europe in Fall 2018 and in North America in 2019.

That will then see the Inazuma Eleven Ares game release in 2019, with LEVEL-5 openly looking “to tap into the growing eSports movement.”

Inazuma Eleven Ares will release for Nintendo Switch across Japan in 2018, and in Europe and North America in 2019.
