IGN put Sonic Lost World through its paces

SEGA’s associate brand manager Aaron Webber joined IGN this week to take Sonic Lost World for a spin, which you can catch below.

Three stages are available within the E3 Demo that was shown: Windy Hill, Desert Ruins 1, and Desert Ruins 2, ranging in difficulty between Easy and Hard.

It’s revealed that players have greater control over Sonic’s speed, the Wii U GamePad’s triggers allowing you to steadily move into a run and utilise the Sonic Dash. The speedy hedgehog now has new parkour moves, enabling him to pass smaller obstacles to ensure that the player can still maintain their speed.

The Wii U GamePad is primarily used to interact with Sonic’s colour powers, although its functionality isn’t visibly demonstrated at any point.
