Square Enix has announced that I Am Setsuna will be a Nintendo Switch launch title in the west, to release digitally on the Nintendo eShop.
It traces the story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible power and inner strength, as she makes a journey to sacrifice herself to save the people of her land.
The debut creation from new Square Enix studio Tokyo RPG Factory, the game looks to merge beloved elements from the golden era of JRPGs with today’s technology. That results in a tale that looks to deliver an emotional story of bravery and sacrifice, along with beautiful art design and character development.
The Nintendo Switch version will include The Temporal Battle Arena, free DLC exclusive to the console that will let players upload and download data to enjoy battles against other players’ parties.
I Am Setsuna will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America on March 3rd.
