Square Enix has announced that they will release free downloadable content for I Am Setsuna on Nintendo Switch.

This will introduce a player-versus-player (PVP) mode which, once downloaded, will allow players to upload and receive party data once they have advanced far enough in the main quest.

Such data will then be shared with other players, and, once received, you can battle against their parties in the Arena of Time. This will apparently present a chance to customise your party characters far more widely, and, we suspect, see that you are rewarded if victorious in combat.

After releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC last year, I Am Setsuna was met positively by critics, sat at a 74 Metascore on Metacritic.

I Am Setsuna will release on Nintendo Switch in March.
