Annapurna Interactive and Hollow Ponds have confirmed that I Am Dead will release on Nintendo Switch this September.

This charming puzzle adventure game comes from the creators behind Hohokum and Wilmot’s Warehouse and is all about exploring the afterlife.

Morris Lupton, the recently-deceased museum curator of the tiny island of Shelmerston, is soon reunited with the ghost of his loyal dog Sparky. However, he discovers that a volcanic disaster is about to destroy the island.

The two characters must work together to uncover Shelmerston’s ancient mysteries, unearthing lost and scattered ghosts in their efforts to prevent the island’s volcano from erupting.

You will be use Morris’ newfound power to peer inside objects and people to reveal their contents or memories. This will let you learn more about stories from their lives, as well as the history and folklore of Shelmerston.

I Am Dead will release first on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch as a timed console exclusive in September 2020.
