Hunter Mode brings online multiplayer to Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon

Whilst Nintendo of America recently revealed the existence of a local multiplayer mode within Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, today they’ve gone one step further.

“Hunter Mode” will see up to four players worldwide team up to tackle individual floors of ghosts whilst climbing the ScareScraper. Players will be able to communicate with each other using preset messages, and you can see it in action below.

Each floor must be cleared before the clock strikes zero, with bonuses and upgrades able to be earned depending on how well your team performs. Boss battles will also greet you at the top of each tower, with players able to choose between the number of floors, which range from five, 10 or 25.

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon was recently confirmed for release on March 24th across North America, and March in Europe.
