Nintendo has confirmed a release date for Splatoon Raiders, the first-ever Splatoon spin-off game, which is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2.
You play as an Inkling mechanic in this single-player focused game, and, alongside Deep Cut’s swashbuckling musicians Shiver, Frye and Big Man, will set out on a treasure-hunting adventure across the Spirhalite Islands. One member of the band will even raid alongside you riding in a powerful Exploration Bot.
As has become the ink-based shooter’s staple, you will have the chance to customise your appearance, equip mechanical gadgets and ink-splattering weapons before splatting “scores of enemies called Salmonids, conquer raids and salvage loot on your journey through the one-of-a-kind Splatoon universe.”
From Tuesday 23 June, you will be able to read free official daily comics made available exclusively through the Nintendo Today! app for smart devices that will set up the story leading into Splatoon Raiders.
There will also be a Splatfest themed around Splatoon Raiders coming to Splatoon 3, which will run between Saturday 11 – Monday 13 July 2026.
Splatoon Raiders will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 23 July 2026.
