Duality Games has announced that Barn Finders will release on Nintendo Switch next week.

Taking inspiration from reality TV programmes such as Storage Wars and Pawn Stars, the game challenges you to leap into a pickup truck and search the undiscovered land of Ameryka for junk to polish and sell at auction.

That will see you search for valuables left behind in abandoned barns, whether that be old clocks, musical instruments, antiques, weaponry or even vintage cars and motorcycles. Returning them to your pawnshop, you will then aim to sell them for a profit.

“We’ve had so much fun revisiting Barn Finders! Seeing just how excited the team has been to bring the game to new audiences has been a thrill,” explains Duality Games vice president and game director Michał Szewerniak. “Releasing the original version on PC two years ago, we were overwhelmed by positive reviews and videos of players exploring our world and having a good laugh! We hope console players will enjoy it just as much.”

The developer has outlined the game’s key features as below:

  • Hundreds of items to find and sell
  • Improve the quality of goods for sale by cleaning and repairing damaged ones as needed
  • Find parts of exclusive cars, motorbikes, rebuild them and then sell for a big payout.
  • Discover crazy stories of the locations you visit and items you collect.

Barn Finders will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 17th June 2022.
