Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is here, and with it, the chance to unlock new outfits for Pyra and Mythra.
The simplest way to unlock their new appearances is by scanning the Pyra or Mythra amiibo, which the option to scan amiibo accessed through the in-game menu (+ Button), System and then amiibo.
If you don’t own the amiibo, there’s no need to worry. Once you have unlocked the new Merc Assault mode, successfully completing a single Merc Assault Mission will see you receive the New Style Pyra/Mythra as a special reward.
Once unlocked, you can switch between Pyra and Mythra’s new and classic looks through the in-game menu (+ Button), by selecting System, Options and then Game Settings. You will be able to see their new looks during both gameplay and cutscenes.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is now available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide, with a physical version to be made available through retailers from 1 October 2026.
