How To Unlock The Dancer Class In Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

The Dancer is a sword-wielding character who can encourage their allies, and a hidden class that appears in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

Able to wield magic and strong against tome-wielding generals, the Dancer “energies allies with inspiring movement” – having access to a Class Action that lets you perform a chainable spin attack that can be used to buff that character and their surrounding allies.

The good news is that the Dancer class isn’t particularly obscure or challenging to unlock – simply requiring you to be thorough when conquering the War Map in Chapter 12.

For those that chose to join the Black Eagles, in the Scarlet Blaze route the chapter is called The Rising Darkness and sees Edelgard lead her army to pacify Hrym. If you chose to join the Blue Lions or the Golden Deer and are pursuing the Azure Gleam or Golden Wildfire routes, the Dancer class is also unlocked in the same way on the War Map in Chapter 12.

We chose the Scarlet Blaze route, so we can be a little more specific for those that made the same choice. In the Southwestern Hrym Territory, you will have an optional battle called A Disquieting Report. It is in this region that the Dancer class will be unlocked, but you will need to do more than simply conquer it.

Within this region, there is “a civilian house in a village near the battlefield,” for which you must make sure that you meet the Survey Conditions – these are to “complete all side missions in this area.”

For the Azure Gleam route, this house can be found in the Martyn Territory on the War Map. We are awaiting confirmation on which region it is in for the Golden Wildfire route.

Once achieved, you will be able to access the otherwise unassuming house from which a noblewoman will appear. In conversation, she will state: “Your passion has inspired me. I’m happy to give you this book on a dancer’s secret techniques.” And, that’s it.

When you return to your Camp, you will be able to visit the Training Instructor to use a Master Seal to acquire the Dancer class for any character that it is available for. Your character will need to have mastered either the Assassin or Swordmaster Advanced classes for it to be able to unlock it for them on the class tree.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
