If you are wondering how to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowking in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, there’s bad news. You can’t. At least, yet.
The Isle of Armor DLC landed this week as the first content to be made available to those that have bought either the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass or the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass.
With this, Game Freak has introduced Galarica Twigs and the Galarica Cuff as the method to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro. However, those wanting to evolve the fan-favourite Dopey Pokémon into Galarian Slowking will need to wait until later this year.
That is because the developer won’t implement an evolutionary method to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowking until The Crown Tundra DLC releases in Autumn. This means that even with the chance to explore Isle of Armor, there is no way to get a Galarian Slowking in the game at the moment, sadly.
That doesn’t mean that Galarian Slowbro isn’t worth checking out in the meantime. The Poison and Psychic-type Hermit Crab Pokémon has a Shellder latched onto its arm, which it can use to shoot poisonous liquid in battle.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
