The Ice-type Pokémon Cetoddle is a brand new addition to the Pokédex in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. You will be able to discover and catch one in a handful of areas in the Paldea region, and, as you set out to complete the region’s Pokédex, you will want to know how to evolve the Terra Whale Pokémon into Cetitan.
Where To Catch Cetoddle
Before you need to know how to evolve Cetoddle into Cetitan, you may want to know where to catch Cetoddle in the wild. Its natural habitat is the Glaseado Mountain, the snowy climbs far to the north of the Paldea region.
Your nearest fast travel points are the Glaseado Gym and Montenevera Gym, once they have been unlocked. We found plenty of Cetoddle spawning to the northeast from Glaseado Gym, but they appear to be a regular spawn
How To Evolve Cetoddle Into Cetitan
You will need to use an Ice Stone to evolve Cetoddle into Cetitan. These can be found as a rare item dropped on the ground as you explore Glaseado Mountain – interact with the shining gold spots, and you will soon start to collect them as we managed to find three in quick succession.
Where To Catch Cetitan
If you aren’t necessarily bothered about evolving Cetoddle and simply want to add Cetitan’s tome to your Pokédex, you may be looking to catch the Pokémon in the wild. It can be similarly found on Glaseado Mountain, as the Pokédex indicates that it “lives in areas with deep snow” but is “rarely seen” and “tries to protect its fellow herd members.” So you will want to look out for a Cetitan that is protecting a small group of Cetoddle.
