Google’s latest Easter egg pays tribute to none other than Lylat Wars/Star Fox 64’s very own Peppy Hare, allowing browser users to perform their very own Barrel Roll!
It’s unclear as to how long this has remained hidden, but if you head to Google’s home page and type “Do a Barrel Roll” you’ll see your search results whizz through a 360-degree turn. This can also be performed by typing “Z or R twice”.
Star Fox team member Peppy Hare’s command during the Nintendo 64 classic has since become an Internet meme over the years. You can catch footage of the Corneria level where he says it below:
