As you fight to prevent the kingdom’s destruction, you may be wondering how many chapters there are in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

There are seven mainline story chapters in the Omega Force-developed hack-and-slash game, although not every chapter is of equal length.

Please be aware that our below list of the story chapters in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity contains major spoilers for the events that unfold in the game.

List of Chapters in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Chapter 1

The Battle of Hyrule Field: A great horde of monsters has invaded Hyrule Field. The Hyrulean army has mounted a defense to drive them back.

Road to the Ancient Lab: As the group heads for the Royal Ancient Lab, they are ambushed by monsters and a crazed Guardian. To protect Zelda, Link and the others escape into the valley.

Chapter 2

Mipha, the Zora Princess: Zelda and the others arrive in Zora’s Domain seeking to recruit Mipha as a pilot. The domain is suddenly attacked, however, and the party fights alongside Mipha to protect everyone.

Daruk, the Goron Hero: Daruk happily accepts the role of Vah Rudania’s pilot, but the Divine Beast is located on Death Mountain. With the mountain overrun by enemies, Daruk and the party must fight their way up.

Revali, the Rito Warrior: Zelda and the party set out for Rito Village, hoping to recruit Revali as one of the Divine Beast pilots. As they cross the snowy plains, however, they are attacked by Rito.

Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief: Zelda, along with the rest of the party, sets out for Gerudo Town to ask Urbosa to become a pilot. Along the way, they suddenly come under attack by the Gerudo.

The Yiga Clan Attacks!: Zelda and the party journey to the Lanayru region to continue work with the Divine Beasts. However, Sooga and Yiga Clan assassins attack before they can reach their destination.

Chapter 3

Freeing Korok Forest: At long last, the party sets out for the Master Sword. They use Vah Medoh to sweep away a horde of monsters, then set their sights on Korok Forest.

The Road Home, Besieged: Having finished their investigation, the party sets out for Hyrule Castle. When monsters ambush them, Link and the others fight to clear a way forward and keep Zelda safe.

Chapter 4

Akkala Tower: The party heads for the Akkala region, hoping to activate the Sheikah Towers. The tower has fallen into the Yiga Clan’s hands, and the party must fight to recapture it.

Destroy the Yiga Clan!: Reclaiming the Sheikah Tower gives the party an invaluable advantage. With the Yiga Clan’s hideout located, Urbosa boards Naboris and prepares to attack.

When Courage Fails: While Zelda is focused on spiritual training at the Spring of Courage, a horde of monsters suddenly attacks. Link and the others must protect Zelda and escape back to Hyrule Castle.

Chapter 5

Calamity Strikes: Calamity Ganon has returned sooner than was predicted. The party fights desperately against monsters and Guardians as they escape from Hyrule Castle.

Water and Fire: Mipha and Daruk are in danger thanks to Calamity Ganon’s monstrous creations. The party rushes toward the Divine Beasts to help them before it’s too late.

Air and Lightning: Revali and Urbosa are in danger thanks to Calamity Ganon’s monstrous creations. The party rushes toward the Divine Beasts to help them before it’s too late.

Chapter 6

Relentless as a Waterfall: A huge swarm of Guardians has laid siege to Akkala Citadel. The party, along with the Divine Beast Vah Ruta, heads toward the battle to try and break the siege.

Each Step Like Thunder: Faced with a relentless army of Guardians, Urbosa and Riju head out to try and distract the enemy. Zelda and the others use this distraction to try and retake Fort Hateno.

Chapter 7

The Great Plateau: Remnants of the Hyrulean army have gathered on the Great Plateau. Using the newly implemented functions of the Sheikah Towers, Zelda and the others head to reconvene with the soldiers.

All Hyrule, United: People from all across the land have gathered on Hyrule Field. As a united force, they cut a path to Hyrule Castle in a bold attempt to defeat Calamity Ganon.

The Future of Hyrule: The party arrives at Hyrule Castle. In order to defeat Calamity Ganon and protect the future of Hyrule, Zelda and the others being the final showdown.
