After visiting every layer in the Underground World, the in-game Collection menu states that there are 777 Bananadium Gems pickups for DK to guzzle down in Donkey Kong Bananza.
In relation to the Skill Points that you steadily unlock, this tally can actually reach even higher as it doesn’t factor in the Banandium Gem bunches that you are rewarded in for completing an underground layer (three Banandium Gems) or defeating the game’s many inventive boss encounters (five Banandium Gems). That means that I had 967 Banandium Gems by the time that I reached 100% completion.
