Image and Form Games has announced that Swedish musician Niklas Åkerblad, known by his pseudonym El Huervo, has composed the soundtrack to SteamWorld Dig 2.

The news was shared in the developer’s latest The Engine Room episode, in which you can hear the track “New Heights in El Machino.”

El Machino is a mining town that acts as the hub area in SteamWorld Dig 2, where players can sell resources, buy upgrades, and talk to the locals to learn more about the world’s lore and receive new quests. Dorothy makes her way to the town at the start of the game, hoping to gather information that can help her locate where Rusty is.

SteamWorld Dig 2 will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America on September 21st, priced at £14.99/€19.99/$19.99.
