HORI has reveales plans to release a Pokkén Tournament DX Pro Pad, for use with Pokkén Tournament DX on Nintendo Switch.

This is based on the official controller that was made for Pokkén Tournament Arcade, with an ergonomic design and button layout that have been optimised for the Pokémon brawler.

The tournament legal wired Pro Pad (9.8 foot cable) is now available to pre-order on Amazon ($24.99), but, as a word of warning, is only supposed to work with Pokkén Tournament DX and may not be compatible with other games.

HORI clarifies that it does not include motion control, analog control, or vibration feedback, and, when playing Pokkén Tournament DX, players will be required to press Start on the title screen to activate it as their main controller.

The Pokkén Tournament DX Pro Pad will release alongside the Nintendo Switch exclusive on September 22nd worldwide.
