Japan’s monthly CoroCoro Comic has revealed that Hoopa’s distribution event will run between 18th July – 30th September 2015 in Japan.
This will be available to players with Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire copies, with the magazine revealing Hoopa Confined’s signature move as Hyperspace Hole – as opposed to Hoopa Unbound’s Hyperspace Fury.
Alongside this, CoroCoro confirm that Hoopa’s additional moves will be Psychic, Nasty Plot and Astonish, have will hold the Focus Sash item which, if struck by a move at full HP that would cause the Pokémon to faint, it will survive with 1 HP.

Do you happen to know how the event works in Japan or where i could find out. Basically since im leaving for japan for 1 year on 28th september, its unlikely the european release will come at the same time as japan. so i will basically have like 2 days to get one. Hi Josh! The distribution event is over local wireless at cinemas screening Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. But, it’s worth letting you know that you’ll need a Japanese copy to receive it – these events are region-locked, unfortunately.
