Honest Game Trailers splatters Splatoon with satire

Smosh Games have tackled Splatoon in their satirical and insanely comedic Honest Game Trailers series.

Immediately likening the game’s inspiration to the 90’s Nickelodeon logo, they scorn Nintendo for taking 14 years to release another original game. Moving on, they describe it as “one of the most Japanese things ever” in reference to seafood, dressing up as Harajuku Girls and a fondness for wet tentacles.

Chamillionaire’s “Ridin'” gets some air time, continuing to mock Nintendo for shipping a game that lacks content and key features, regardless of how addictive it is. In any case, the tongue-in-cheek humour is bound to raise a smile. Now, back to Turf War…
