PM Studios and PICOMY have announced that the release date for their “wild and wacky 3-vs-1 multiplayer showdown” Bandit Trap has been delayed.
“Attention everyone, our upcoming security challenge was set to begin February 6, but the trap workshop is still buzzing. We want to make sure every trap lands with maximum mayhem. Springs tightened. Oiling swings tuned. Gadgets pushed to their limits,” the publisher shared in an update on social media. “The new launch date: April 30, 2026. Smarter setups. Trickier challenges. No easy way through, so… Trappers – enjoy the chaos. Bandits – bring your A-game.”
Coming to Nintendo Switch 2, in Bandit Trap, one intrepid Trapper is pitted against three scheming Bandits who are seeking to steal treasure from their house. The Trapper is challenged to outsmart the thieves to defend their home, while the Bandits must secure the treasure and safely make their escape in one piece.
With “unpredictable and comedic competition” promises in every match, you can smash through walls, flood rooms, or freeze entire floors in your hope to succeed. The Trapper will be able to unleash creative contraptions to fling or flatten the invading Bandits, while they must do their best to avoid the chaos.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- 3-vs-1 Multiplayer Mayhem: Team up as three bandits or play as the Trapper to defend your home.
- Creative Traps: Use physics-driven traps and clever tactics to outwit your opponents.
- Dynamic Environments: No single match will ever be the same, with dynamic and destructible levels allowing you to bust down walls, flood rooms, and so much more.
- Family-Friendly Fun: Designed for players of all ages, offering chaotic action and laughs for everyone.
Bandit Trap will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 30 April 2026.
