Update: Nintendo UK have confirmed that attendees will also compete to win ten Nintendo 3DS systems, and ten copies of Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Original Story: Nintendo have partnered with HMV to run a series of Kid Icarus: Uprising multiplayer events across the United Kingdom.
These will see players go up against the experienced Kid Icarus: Uprising Battle Squad, with the first event due to take place between 12:00 – 16:00 on Saturday 28th April at HMV’s flagship store in Oxford Circus.
Those that wish to take part must bring their Nintendo 3DS and copy of Kid Icarus: Uprising if you wish to choose your favourite weapon.
Everyone that joins in will receive a limited edition Kid Icarus: Uprising poster, with those that defeat the Battle Squad able to net themselves a set of AR Cards to boost their collection.
Nintendo will also run a free prize draw through social media site Twitter, fans required to have their photo taken with the Battle Squad in HMV and to tweet it on the same day as the event to @KidIcarusUK using the hashtag #KidIcarusBattleSquad. This will see you entered to win one of six £50 HMV vouchers.
The Kid Icarus: Uprising Battle Squad dates and locations are as follows:

* HMV Reading Oracle – Saturday 5th May
* HMV Birmingham Bullring – Saturday 12th May
