Triple-I Games have confirmed a release date for their single-player action RPG Hindsight 20/20: Wrath of the Raakshasa on Nintendo Switch.

“Hindsight was developed around our custom-built Experience Engine that grants players deeper choices and consequences,” explains Triple-I Games creative director Hemanshu Chhabra. “We don’t want our dilemmas to be black and white, and we hope our game makes you carefully consider your actions when it releases in September.”

Champaner cherishes life above all else, the kingdom preferring to practice pacifism rather than wielding weapons. After a virus starts to transform residents into bloodthirsty beasts known as Raakshasas and a destructive rift looms in the sky, such sacred values are quickly questioned.

Mourning the loss of his recently murdered father, Jehan, a mysterious man with one arm, becomes torn between the pacifism that he was taught to revere and his sudden need for revenge.

You must choose between Merciful or Ruthless combat styles which each has its own advantages and drawbacks when overcoming the enemies and bosses that will confront you. That could see you choose to stun your foes to gain the respect of your people or neutralise them quickly with your deadly sword.

Hindsight 20/20: Wrath of the Raakshasa will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 9th September 2021.
