PlatinumGames director Hideki Kamiya has indicated his desire to return to two of his most celebrated creations, Bayonetta and Okami.
While he is currently hard at work on Windows 10 and Xbox One exclusive Scalebound, Kamiya was quizzed by Polygon as to whether he would like to develop Bayonetta 3 next.
“To answer your question straightly, yes,” he replied. “It’s actually something I’ve been thinking a lot about. We’ve talked a lot about it internally at the company and I’ve written some outlines for what the game would be. And I feel really confident it would be cool if we got the chance to make it.”
When later asked in an interview with Metro as to whether he had spoken to any publishers about his ideas, Kamiya responded: “No, but I’ve spent a lot of time thinking in my head what that game would be. I’ve got ideas in my head for Okami 2 as well.”
