Rogueside has announced that Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic will release on Nintendo Switch.
This sequel to the popular Hidden Through Time is promised to “expand on many ideas, concepts and simplicity of gameplay to create a bigger, deeper and more expansive/impressive challenge that will continue to captivate gamers of all ages.”
You will once again be challenged to find and collect hidden objects, as you set out on a journey of discovery through the ages. The developer has worked hard to deliver improved visuals and sound with the sequel, as well as other features such as customisation options, increased intractability and improved ambience – hoping it will help make the levels “feel more alive and vibrant” for you to immerse yourself in.
“The idea for Hidden Through Time originated from those Where’s Waldo books everyone had back when they were young,” explains Rogueside marketing manager Jacobein Van den Bergh. “The key difference between us and [our] competitors is the addition of a map editor, enabling the community to create and share their own maps, as well as play other’s creations. One of the big focuses for the sequel is customisation.”
Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide “later in the year.”
