The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will level new challenge at players through a Hero Mode and allow them to take self-photographs with the Picto Box, it has emerged from IGN’s latest preview.

As with Skyward Sword, the more challenging difficulty will see enemies become harder to hit and any damage taken only able to be restored through potions. Although unlike the Wii release this is accessible from the start, rather than requiring you to complete the game first.

Meanwhile, the Picto Box, which was mainly used in side-quests in the GameCube version, is a far more playful tool now. Opening itself up to plenty of humorous shots being posted on Miiverse, players can take selfie photos of Link, and change his expression between happy, sad, and surprised, before taking your photo.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD releases across Europe on October 4th, and in North America during October.
