Here’s how Nintendo recreated Windfall Island as a sandcastle!

Numerous buckets of sand, a gazebo to protect from the elements and a lot of exceptional talent were the ingredients required for Nintendo to turn The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD’s Windfall Island into this rather striking sandcastle.

The rather resplendent creation, intricately detailed for accuracy, was placed on display at the Nintendo World store in New York, as part of the company’s celebration for the Wii U exclusive’s launch last month.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is now available exclusively for Wii U worldwide.
