Devolver Digital and Le Cartel Studio have confirmed a release date for Heave Ho 2, which is coming to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
Promising to “make you laugh and swear at your friends in equal measure,” this sequel to their smash hit party game once again invites you to strap in for slapstick 2-4 player thrills in either co-op or versus play.
From weightless space to kitchen chaos, you will be challenged to grab, grapple and swing your way through eight anarchic themed worlds – choosing whether to lend your friends a helping hand or send them tumbling to their doom.
On Nintendo Switch 2, the game also supports GameShare, allowing one player with the game to share it locally or online with up to three other players.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Party Online: For the first time, leap into full online co-op and versus play with 2-4 people, in addition to the classic couch multiplayer that made the original Heave Ho so beloved.
- Get Competitive: Take revenge on your underperforming co-op teammates in versus mode through a series of frantic challenges, cunningly designed to start a completely different argument every time!
- New Nonsense: Explore 8 all-new worlds brimming with new mechanics and scenarios, and get your hands on an array of gadgets, including pop guns, sauce bottles, levers, keys, and drones.
- Visual Delights: Souped up visuals, with richer environments, more lovable character expressions, and enhanced visual cues so you always know where to go and what to do.
Heave Ho 2 will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide on 16 July 2026.
