Wales Interactive and Superstring have revealed that Headspun will release on Nintendo Switch next month.

Combining live-action storytelling with elements of adventure games, this 2D narrative adventure is best described as being a game about recovery, discovery, and the ongoing battle between logic and emotion.

It stars Theo Kavinsky who, after waking from a five-week coma, finds his life in disrepair. With no memory of the accident, it’s up to Ted – the rational, human personification of Theo’s character – and Teddy – the primal, emotional representation of Theo’s psyche – to work out what happened.

Set in Cortex, the world of Theo’s broken brain, you play as Ted and must watch his life unfold from the eyeScreen behind his eyes.

That will see you make decisions on his behalf, run the day-to-day cognitive operations that define him as a person, and make repairs – to ultimately discover what happened on the night of the accident.

Headspun will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on August 28th and will be made available to pre-order at discount from August 14th.
