Serenity Forge and Atmos Games have announced that their psychological narrative game Neversong is now available on Nintendo Switch.

After waking from a coma, Peet discovers that his best friend is nowhere to be found. In this hauntingly dreamlike fable, you must investigate the screams that are coming from the heart of Neverwood and uncover the strange truth about Peet’s past.

The experience deals with some dark themes, described as a game “all about the death of youthfulness, but more importantly, the redemption one can achieve after the loss of that innocence.”

That will see you explore six moody and illustrative levels, from Red Wind Field to Blackfork Asylum’s haunting halls. Your trusty baseball bat will help you defeat bosses, monsters and zombie grown-ups, with your quirky childhood friends and faithful pet bird joining you on your adventure.

Neversong is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
