Natsume has announced Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, an all-new Nintendo 3DS exclusive in the iconic farm simulation series.
This will take place in a land known as the Oasis of the Harvest Goddess, where many people had once lived in Skytree Village. While the land was lush and green, it is now parched and dry after the power of the Harvest Goddess waned.
It is down you to revive the seven Skytrees to lend their power back to the Harvest Goddess, restoring life to the desolate land.
“We’ve revisited each and every part of what makes a Harvest Moon game, and are excited at the end result,” comments Harvest Moon series producer Taka Maekawa. “We are looking forward to seeing players try the game during E3 2016.”
Players will meet a cast filled with new and returning faces, with the game to use a brand new art style and character models. There will be new crops and flowers to discover, new fishing mechanics, easier ways to shape the land, and a new herd animal – the Poitou donkey.
“After the evolutionary Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and a successful jaunt to mobile platforms with Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories, we are really excited to share everything we have learned with our fans,” adds Natsume CEO and president Hiro Maekawa.
“Our community is very important to us, and their feedback and input has been taken into account a great deal in the development of Harvest Moon: Skytree Village! We hope they will see and feel their contribution in this new game!”
Harvest Moon: Skytree Village will be playable at E3 2016 which takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center between 14th – 16th June 2016.
