Focus Home Interactive has announced that wannabe farmers will soon have the chance to harvest fields in Farming Simulator on Nintendo Switch.

The French publisher has partnered with Giants Software to bring the series to Nintendo’s home gaming system, and, while it had been shown in the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, has promised that more details will be shared in the coming months.

Farming Simulator 17 was the most recent title, released across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac. It introduced a new North American environment and allows players to drive more than 250 authentic farming vehicles and equipment plucked from across 75 manufacturers.

With farming and agriculture at its heart, players must harvest many crops, take care of their livestock, take part in forestry, and sell their products in order to expand their farm. That can be done with the help of other players, with community-created mods having allowed the experience to grow in, perhaps, surprising popularity.
