Phiphen Games and Zockrates Laboratories have announced that Ruffy and the Riverside will be released on Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
You will have the chance to join Ruffy on a quest to stop the mischievous villain Groll from destroying the World Core and throwing Riverside into complete chaos. There are helpful friends to meet along the way, such as Pip the sassy bee, Sir Eddler the adventurous mole and Silja the wise turtle.
As Ruffy is the Chosen One, you can harness the magical power of SWAP and use it to transform the game world. That could see you change the sun into the moon, ice into lava or stone into wood, whether that be to create a boat or swap a wall into rubble to clear your path forwards.
Whenever the 3D World ends, Ruffy will leap into 3D levels where he can collect even more treasure. However, you will still need to use the magical SWAP mechanic to transform objects and unlock new paths.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:

Ruffy and the Riverside will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q1 2025.
