Crazy Monkey Studios has announced that Guns, Gore and Cannoli will soon see release on Nintendo Switch.
The non-stop, action-packed, completely over-the-top, fast-paced, platform game takes place in Thugtown at the height of the prohibition – inviting players to lose themselves in an elaborate tale in which they will witness the rise and fall of a criminal mastermind.
It tells the story of Vinnie Cannoli and his mob family who suddenly uncover a dark story of conspiracy and betrayal when it becomes apparent that the city has been overrun by zombies.
It’s down to you to unravel the sneaky mafia ways and government conspiracy while searching for your lost pal and answers about what caused the zombie outbreak.
That will see you shoot, blast and kick the undead, rival gangsters and the army, who are intent on keeping the outbreak covered up.
With hand-drawn 2D graphics, animations and cinematic-style cutscenes, what will perhaps excite most is that local co-op will let up to four players team up to unravel the mystery together.
“Last but not least we have great news for all fans that begged us to let you shoot zombie freaks on the go. Your prayers have been heard: Guns, Gore & Cannoli will be making its way to Nintendo Switch,” the developer announced in an update.
“We received our Switch devkit last week and will be porting Vinnie’s first adventure to the new console. Nintendo was very keen to add the game to their indie line-up and we’re thrilled we’re going to make this happen.”
