Groudon template distribution now live for Pokémon Art Academy

Pokémon Art Academy graced retailers across Europe only yesterday, but Nintendo have already looked to fuel you with artistic inspiration with the first downloadable Pokémon template.

Once you’ve made your way through the introductory lessons, make your way to the game’s main menu screen and select Free Paint mode. From here you will see “Check for Downloadable Images” on the touch screen, then tap “Yes” to connect to the Internet to see what’s available.

It shouldn’t take long for a Groudon template to be discovered, which you can download to then use to draw a rather intricate picture of the Legendary Pokémon plucked from Pokémon Ruby.

Groudon will only be available to download between 4th July – 20th July, and then 4th August – 17th August 2014. A separate distribution for Kyogre will take place after these dates, specifically 21st July – 3rd August and 18th August – 31st August 2014.

If you haven’t yet picked up Pokémon Art Academy, then feel free to check out our review to see what you’re missing out on.
