Feral Interactive has announced that GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition is in development for Nintendo Switch 2.
Codemasters was the developer behind this racing game, which came to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC back in 2022.
After porting GRID Autosport to the original Nintendo Switch, the game’s “all-out racer” sequel now comes to the portable home console’s successor, promising “pin-sharp visuals, great performance, and a huge range of cars that will go wheel-to-wheel in 10 high-octane motorsport disciplines across 24 stunning locations.”
The game comes to Nintendo Switch 2 with all downloadable content, which adds the Classic Car-Nage destruction derby, Drift and Endurance modes, new Career and Story events, and additional cars and tracks.
In a Reddit AMA, Feral Interactive has outlined what you can expect from the game’s performance on Nintendo Switch 2: “In terms of in-game options, we’ve expanded on the well-received model we used in GRID Autosport for Switch 1. GRID Legends will have both ‘Graphics’ and ‘Performance’ presets for docked and handheld play (where you can expect 30 frames per second and up to 60 frames per second respectively), as well as dedicated ‘Balanced’ and ‘Battery Saver’ presets exclusively for handheld. So you can choose your preferred mix of frame rate and fidelity.
“As for graphical effects, Switch 2 will retain all the fireworks, tyre smoke, sparks and backfire you’ve come to expect from mobile and other console versions.”
GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide in early 2026, priced at £24.99 ($39.99).
