Pineapple Works, Cute Spooks and Prairieville Games have announced that Greek Tragedy is coming to Nintendo Switch.

This ’90s-era survival horror experience is set at Southern Michigan University. After she is determined to immerse herself in her creative writing, Amy Chipley unexpectedly receives an urgent and cryptic email from her boyfriend Kurt imploring her to meet him at the Student Union Building and suggesting he is in immediate danger.

Now finding herself locked in the common room with strange, foul-smelling gas seeping in, Amy must make her escape before she perishes at the hands of a bloodthirsty cult. It’s up to you to investigate the conspiracy and uncover the secrets behind recent disappearances, rescue Kurt and expose the truth behind it all.

To do so, you will explore Southern Michigan University’s hallowed halls, solve strange puzzles, survive spooky chases and do your best to evade those that want to prevent you from succeeding.

The publisher has outlined the game’s key features as below:

  • Cinematic student-horror experience;
  • Non-linear puzzles;
  • Callback to classic PS1 titles;
  • Deep secrets to uncover.

Greek Tragedy will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q4 2022.
