Ubisoft and Disney Interactive have announced Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets, a Nintendo 3DS exclusive developed in collaboration with the Disney XD show’s creator and executive producer, Alex Hirsch.

In development at Ubisoft Osaka using the UbiArt Framework game engine, Legend of the Gnome Gemulets will deliver the quirky humour of the animated series in an interactive way.

Players will take control of the Pines twins Dipper and Mabel, as you look to help Jeff the gnome retrieve the ancient Gnome Gemulets that have been stolen from the Gnome Forest.

With the forest’s magic dying without their power, the kids are motivated by the promise of gnome gold and equip themselves with enchanted gnome weapons as they quest through labyrinthine landscapes.

With strange creatures and monstrous bosses to face, fans can also meet characters such as Soos, Grunkle Stan, and Old Man McGucket on their journey.

Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS later this year.
