With Majesco Entertainment rocked by financial troubles, Gone Home developer The Fullbright Company shared earlier in the year that as a result the game’s console release was “not actively in development any longer.”

Today, that situation has changed. Gone Home’s writer and designer Steve Gaynor has shared news that a “PC-perfect conversion” of their story exploration experience will see release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month.

But, what about Wii U? It was on the cards at one point, Nintendo of America’s Damon Baker preemptively revealing that it was on the way to the console way back at Unite 2014. That decision has since changed, with Gaynor clarifying that they no longer have plans to port it to Wii U.
